As you can tell by now that I do love using smiley faces and I am a person that enjoys smiling...A LOT! There really isn't a story or disclaimer behind this piece, I think I was just writing and rolled with it...Enjoy :)

I write to you
Because
You give me poetry
You give me words
Words
Filled with dignified meaning
You give meaning
To the words
You give
The phrases
Such phrases
Bearing your heart to me
Along the outskirts of time
Through every line
Those lines
That keep our beings entwined
Oh
How I wish I had more time
A moment
To express to you
How I feel inside
When you abide
And give me poetry
Every play on word
To a stanza
Feeling so free
I wanna dance-a
And take a chance
On writing a piece that will make you flourish a smile and weep all in the same
But
Don't thank me
Because
You are the one I gratefully blame
Because
You give me poetry
Poetry in the pictures that manifest from a day dream
It's reality inspired
Your poetry is reality transpired
And I never get tired
Because
Your poetry is so real

Is real
In me
From written to typed
I dig
I love
I like
I just might
Might have to muse from your nostalgic form
It's so far from the norm
Yet sends so much comfort
Like the old sun inviting the new morn
And pours into my flavor like a majestic storm
I like the rain
And I like you too
So
It's to you that i write
Because
You give me poetry
Your style
Is a movement on its own
So eclectic
So electric
So poetic
It's pathetic
What you do to me
With your poetry
Serenading me
With metaphorical frames
Your imagery
It kisses the sky
The sky is the limit
And you're clouding my domain
But i want you in it
What can i say
We can pass along the message
To the generations to come
On how
I fell for you
The day you wrote to me
Your poetry
Your whimsical phrases
Adding to my pages of life
Taking me through stages
It seems only fair that I
Offer to you
Pieces of me
So here
Another masterpiece awaits
To be created
From me to thee
For presenting to me
