Something Quick...

So, I get inspiration from everywhere and everything AND this came about while listening to a poet performing at the Lyrical Sanctuary about a couple of months ago...He was cool and shouted me out for also being cool :) And, I was there with my beautiful and talented cousin Lilo so in some way I think I wrote it for her because of what she was going through at the time...So, here it is...Enjoy :)

Even after the darkest of nights

And make sure your curls stay juicy
Because
A dry spell
Is where the lies dwell

Don't believe the hype
Because
Your days are giftings
And when the world sees your light
Hearts are lifting

Spread the love
Because
Time is swifting
So tonite
Grab hold to your favorite lullaby
And begin to sing until your soul cries
Because
Weeping may endure for a night
But
Joy surely does come in the
Morning :)
